What Exactly are Low Power States and How Can They Be Tested and Measured?

At FMS 2023, Anthony Andrews, Senior Software Engineer at SerialTek, will give a talk on low power sub-states for laptops and tablets and how QA teams can properly test and validate them to ensure compliance and meet sustainability goals. To demonstrate the optimal testing procedures of low power sub-states, Anthony will be using the SANBlaze SBExpress-DT5 Gen 5 test system, Quarch’s Power Analysis tools, and SerialTek’s Kodiak analyzer. These complementary technologies will allow participants to see a real-world end-to-end test environment for full transparency.
