The Digital TV Group (DTG) and Deutsche TV-Plattform (DTVP) are hosting their joint international Plugfest 2026, along with the HbbTV Testing Event in cooperation with the HbbTV Association.

Plugfest provides a dynamic platform for companies to collaborate in a controlled environment, testing and validating the interoperability of products, software, content, and applications. This is an essential step toward delivering seamless integration and an outstanding user experience across devices and platforms.

Interoperability tests will cover cutting-edge technologies including:

UHD 4K/8K, HDR, and High Frame Rate (HFR)
Next-Generation Audio (NGA)
HbbTV, DVB-I, and HDMI compatibility
